About the Author:
Alex Jankowski is a student of the human condition, wielding the written craft to enrapture the mind much like an artist wields a brush. The pages are a blank canvas on which to draw from a talent heralded by many and matched only by an imagination that rises to the task. Alex J title is the first in a series of recent pursuits, with work progressing quickly on the follow-up.
Born in Gdansk Germany (now Poland) in 1942, Alex spent two years as a child refugee with his grandmother before being reunited with his mother in West Germany by the International Red Cross. He grew up in a small rural village in Ilten near Hanover in northern Germany.
He immigrated to Australia in 1967 and his lived and worked as a builder and the last 18 years as a massage-therapist along the East coast of Australia since. He has two married sons and has now retired to Newcastle N.S.W. to focus on his writing.
