Thoughts.com Holds Its 1st Writing Contest
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) April 2, 2008 -- The free blog community, Thoughts.com (http://www.thoughts.com/), has unveiled their first writing contest, the winner of which will be awarded a free 3 day, 2 night vacation for two. Beginning Tuesday, April 1, 2008, all Thoughts.com members are encouraged to submit a 300-500 word essay beginning with the phrase "Hey, I just had a crazy thought. What if ....." The blogger who fills in the blank with the most original and creative thought will receive an all expenses paid vacation getaway not too far from their part of the world.
This latest promotion is on the heels of the unforgettable, 1st Annual Thoughts Vacation in November 2007 at the Signature MGM Resort, Las Vegas, in which the six top Thoughts bloggers and their guests were treated to four days and three nights of true Las Vegas hospitality. Guests were blown away by Cirque du Soleil's "Ka", Wolfgang Puck's gourmet cuisine and the chocolate covered strawberries and champagne room service! A highlight video of the Las Vegas event is available at http://www.thoughts.com/site/vegas-vacation-07
Thoughts.com founder, Benjamin Ogden, said he is excited to see how active and enthusiastic the Thoughts community has become in less than one year.
"The Las Vegas Vacation (http://www.thoughts.com/site/vegas-vacation-07) was so successful that we wanted to do something else to say thank you to our most active members before our next annual vacation. Obviously, since our bloggers love to write, we thought why not reward them for their writing skills. Only this time around, the reward is a private getaway for two. And it's just the first of many more. While it's important to be part of a community and have a social life, it's also important to spend quality time with that special person in your life. I'm looking forward to all the creative and inspiring posts!"
All entries must be received by Midnight on Wednesday, April 30th. Any member of Thoughts, old and new, is eligible to win, and must be available some time in May, 2008 to take their free vacation getaway not too far from their part of the world. Visit thoughts.com to open an account and start your free blog (http://www.thoughts.com/free-blog) today. Complete details of the writing contest can be found at http://www.thoughts.com/site/vacation
