Article Writing Tips - Make Money as a Beginning Writer
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Angela_Booth]Angela Booth
You're a beginning writer. Congratulations! Writing is an invaluable skill for success in your life.
The easiest way to make money as a beginning writer is by writing articles, specifically for the Web, rather than print publications.
Writing articles for print publications is highly competitive, and pays well at the highest levels, but you can look forward to years of rejections as you learn your trade. You don't have to go that route. Thanks to the Internet, even beginning writers can make money.
=> Choose a topic, write articles
Web sites need to make money, or die. To make money, there are essentially two options: sell products and services, or sell advertising. Many Web publishers are taking a clue from magazines and newspapers, which have used "sell advertising" for centuries.
Since no one will visit a site just to click on an ad, Web sites need content: articles. They provide interesting content, and sell advertising. So, many millions of Web sites need articles, and this is where you come in.
But what will you write about? Here's a tip I give to my writing students: choose something you can kick - tangible products. You can review products you've used - from cars to toys - or just write about the products: "Five Ways To Save Money Buying _________"; "Top Ten Mistakes To Avoid With ________", and so on.
There are many reasons for choosing tangible products; the chief one is that articles about iPods or Caribbean holidays are in demand. You can certainly write Op-Ed (Opinion-Editorial) personal essay-style articles, but these are a harder sell.
=> A fast and easy article-writing format you can use
Here's an article format that's easy: Introduction, Three or Four Points, Conclusion.
In your introduction, introduce the topic or product, and make a statement. Then in the body of the article, make three or four points. (You can also use a list format "Top Five Ways To ________"). Your conclusion refers to the introduction.
Article writing is great fun, and can be very lucrative. Your skills will develop as you write. So what are you waiting for? Go and write an article.

Using Poetry to Teach Reading Skills
Why use poetry? Children love rhythm whether it is in songs, words or tapping on a table or desk. Home schooling parents and teachers using word play with children every single day in one form or another are boosting children?s learning power, child development and natural curiosity. Young children are highly motivated to read and hear poetry in any form.
